Game Overview

Wana is an abstract strategy game where two players maneuver their units across a network of lines. Through tactical positioning, the goal is to eliminate the movement options of the opponent's marbles. Victory is achieved by completely blocking an enemy piece.

Setup

Each player has 8 marbles of their color. These are placed on the divots at the intersections between the lines.

Gameplay

Players alternate taking turns. On your turn, you must move one of your marbles.

Movement

• A marble can move as far as you want along the line it is currently on.
• The marble must move without making any turns.
• A marble cannot move through or onto the same space as another marble.
• A marble that travels off the board will reappear and continue traveling from the opposite side of the same line.

End of Game & Winning Condition

• The objective is to trap an opponent's marble by surrounding it with any combination of own or opponent marbles.
• A marble is considered trapped if it cannot be moved at the beginning of its owner's turn.
• If you have a marble that cannot be moved at the beginning of your turn, you lose the game.
• The first player to successfully trap an opponent's marble wins the game.
