Welcome to the dwarven kingdom of Nidavellir. You are a merchant taking part in a legendary tavern tradition: a game of bartering called Trök. Instead of fighting or conquering, your goal is to become the wealthiest trader by collecting sets of equipment and upgrading your trading capabilities.
Each round, you secretly choose cards, then reveal them simultaneously. Whoever plays the highest value gains control of the trade and decides how cards are exchanged. This creates a constant tug-of-war between risk and reward, where bluffing and timing are just as important as strategy.
At its heart, Trök is an engine-building gem. Every card you collect isn’t just a trophy: it’s a tool that shapes your future moves. Whether you’re cornering the market on specific sets or adapting your hand to counter your rivals, there’s a satisfying moment where everything falls into place as your long-term strategy finally pays off. It makes every victory feel hard-earned and rewarding.
It is an easy-to-learn game that offers deep, meaningful choices through card combinations and set collection. With multiple paths to victory, no player is ever completely out of the game.
