Which move number? Once we know the move number and the game has ended, we can repay that move and make the same decisions you did to confirm the behavior.

I had this happen to me on two consecutive selections on table: 356256575, moves 85 and 87. After the first instance I thought maybe I had selected wrong. On the second instance, I was 100% positive I selected the 4 die and it re-rolled the 1 from the buried dice.

I'm select it from the buried dice area, if that makes a difference.

Having reviewed the replay of the original table, I can't get move 37 to work unless I select the 2.

There's three interfaces where you can click dice to select them for dogpile: the yard tile, the interface in the middle, and the scoreboard in the right. The yard tile isn't synchronized with the other two for the order of the dice. Clicking the first die in one interface will select the first die in all the interfaces, but that might be a different die!

For example, if you have:
Yard tile: 3 2 1
Play area: 2 1 3
Scoreboard: 2 1 3

Clicking the 1 on the yard tile will select 3 on the other two. If you hit confirm after clicking the 1 in the yard, it'll reroll the 3.

Clicking the 1 on the play area will select 2 on the yard tile and 1 on the scoreboard. If you hit confirm, it'll reroll the 1.

Basically, the yard tile lies!

There is definitely a bug here, this just happened to me too. Table 374092184, move 165. I had a 1 and a 5 in the yard, I'm certain I selected the 5, but it took the 1 instead.

Can you provide a screenshot, table number, and move number? Without those, the best we can tell you is that it works when we test it and we haven't reproduced the problem.

This has also happened to me multiple times. The first time I assumed it was a misclick but the second time I was sure that I clicked the die with more spots from my yard but found that the 1 was rolled instead.

@Two-Sheds, the replay indicates you did click on the right die, like you said. When I replay your game, I see that the 1 is the right die, not the 5, so that's what it rerolled.

When you replay that move, do you see something different?

I don't know about the replay, but I"m sure I clicked on the 5 during the game. And lots of other people are reporting this, we can't all be hallucinating. It looks like @Siveran provided a detailed explanation of the problem. Maybe there's some kind of inconsistency in the ordering of the dice in the yard display, versus the data structure in the code?
