Shobu, the original Tien Len played in Vietnam just has basic rules to appeal to the casual Vietnamese citizens when they play with their friends and family during the Tet holiday.

The extra scoring is for players wanting to play more competitively hence why you see it in the Vietnamese apps. I do agree on adding these scoring variations for more complex gameplay. I will try to get to this after knocking out the higher priority bugs in the game.

Yes those advanced rules should only be programmed once the main program is finished.
I understand there's not a real Tien Len ruleset (you even have Tien Len in North Vietnam which even have bigger differences), but those advanced rules really makes the game better, and more fun :)

Can you list all of the scoring differences you seen in other Tien Len apps? I am not sure how many differences there are for me to program in the game.

===Penalties=== (as implemented on "Tien Len Choi Nhanh" app)

When a game end, player who still have 2 or special card sets in their hands is penalized. The penalty for:
- a black 2 is 1point
- a red 2, or 3 consecutive pair or a quadruple s is 2pts,
- and the penalty 4 consecutive pairs is 4pts.

If a player has finished his hand while another player (P2) still have 13cards in hands, this player P2 is expelled ("locked") from the current hand, and get a -2 penalty

There's also a penalty when your 2 get bombed ("chopped"), but i need to search detail as penalties can be cumulated (if somebody bomb a triplepair with a quad).

There's also auto-win condition, every app has them but it feel a bit weird and i'm not 100% sure about them:

"Certain hands are recognized as "auto win" hands. Games with these hands are not played. The owner of the special hand wins the game. "

Hand containing 6 pairs.
Hand containing 5 consecutive pairs.
Hand containing 4 deuces.
Dragon series, hand containing a series of 13 cards (series of 12 and a deuce).
Partial dragon series, hand containing a series of 12 cards.
13 black (or red) cards.
12 black (or red) cards.

Can you explain in more detail what being locked means? I still don't quite understand. Also there is a lot of scoring differences in this report to easily keep track on what needs to be done. Can you make new separate reports for game penalties and auto wins since they do different things with points. I will close this report when the new reports are made.
