If you are just spectating, you aren't seeing the cards in players' hands, I suppose. There is text that on them that would need to be translated.

Resource cards are just pictures, but pigeon cards and some objective cards have text. I would not want to play this in another language, unfortunately.

@AdamPalma, all BGA games allow to have the resource text translated in the language of every user separately - and translations are needed in many more languages than only English and French.

There is no need to have a game option for that here.
Only games that are really "language dependent" in this sense are games like Stella (Dixit universe) where it is imperative that all players speak the same language.

I cannot automatically queue for this game because of the language dependency.

"This game is language dependent. You cannot restrict this table to a language not supported by the game."

I'm not trying to. My preferences are set to English or French.
Same error message for any set of preferences I change.

And can't understand this language restriction... Other games with texte on cards only available in english dors not have this restriction ( like wingspan or many others...)

I haven't played the game yet, but from the manual and videos I've seen, there's no reason to restrict it to any particular language (text in cards is a matter of interface, not of game mechanics). If (for example) English and French editions have different rules, there could be an option to select which rules to use, but it still should not be tied to the language players understand.

Also, I started a game set to "Français", and it was in English (as it should, since it's the language set in my preferences), so it looks like a pretty useless option.

To replicate this problem, click on the [Play Now] tab

Set to [Real Time] and [Automatic] and then click [Play Now!] for this game

If English is your only language, it will display "Unexpected error: This game is language dependent. You cannot restrict this table to a language not supported by the game."

I even added French as a 2nd language to my profile, and it still gives this message.

Why is this even a setting? This can be done by user preferences.

I cannot open a new game, because my language is not supportet. My first is german, second is english, but there is allready this error message. If I switch to englisch as main language, I m able to start a new game.

@Dagno78 Please confirm your issue by creating a new issue. There is no specific thing to this game about language, we have no idea about your issue.
