This happens every time, it is not really a bug, more like a suggestion for better user experience. :)

First it is NOT a bug.
Second, it is the way of life on BGA : all can't be undo.

Could you make the check for Decoys manual?

I.e. add a button check for decoys next the UNDO and DONE. Or with the counters themselves. Then you should be able to undo until a check is made.

Why do you want to add another confirm button !!!
In chess, you think before touching a piece. On BGA, it is the same before clicking somewhere.
Clicking on an ennemy occupied hex CAN'T be undo.

Except that on BGA if you want to drag the screen, but click a unit it moves the unit instead of dragging the screen.

I am on a laptop and that is rarely an issue. According to Galdred it is much easier to make such a mistake on a phone.

OK, my mistake. If you select a unit and THEN drag the screen it issues a move when you release the button. I assume that something similar happened to Galdred since in the game chat he said that it was not what he intended to do at all. I am not sure how it works on a phone.

So if you can disable the issuing of movement if the screen was dragged, that should fix it. I am not sure if this isn't a general BGA issue though.

I missclicked the token because I didn't notice I had something selected.
It is much easier to make such mistakes on BGA than on live chess. Also, on Tabletop, you would usually ask the opponent if a token disappear, and not be committed to it after touching it (there is a check for decoy/check for cloaking button on Vassal).
If it is not needed, why even have an undo function in the first place?

Most of my mistakes are made on the phone, but for this particular move, I am not sure it was the phone . However, I was actually scrolling with a token selected without me noticing it, and I could not undo.
It is on me, but it is very weird to not be able to undo a critical move.

I almost redid that today:
Maybe the issue is more with the fact that scrolling with something selected will usually action it, but it would probably be harder to fix in a satisfying way.
It is not a huge issue with a mouse, but on a touchpad, or worse, on mobile, it can cause quite a few issues, hence why I think having to "commit" moves to check for decoys would be better (not confirm each individual move).

Could it perhaps be something like an "are you sure you want to move into an enemy hex? (no undo)" confirmation? That would make it consistent with the confirmation query for entering known black holes, for example.

I like abacus suggestion. Same as entering blackhole.
Would make it easier to remind it could be a decoy, and think twice which unit to send in first to check that :P

Plus, it is only undoable when the enemyships are hidden. If enemy ships are visible, no decoy check, so it can be undone easily.
