Or a confirm option, on a laptop with a touchpad I have accidentally selected something because I had to hover to confirm what was to be chosen.

Hi driscoma,

There is a confirm option for mobile and tablets, already.
Chances are that your laptop uses a desktop resolution. On desktop resolution there's only an indication on mouse hover to keep the game experience fluid.

very easy to select wrong animal when hovering over to see which way it moves. Really need an undo option - I have messed up so many times on my laptop. Like others i tried the reset which does not do what you expect at this point. Ability to reset when placing is also needed.

I agree that it would be good to have an "undo" button on laptops. Especially as many of us likely have a habit of relying on it from other games.
In a recent game, the nearest chicken was halfway around the board, but I didn't notice that there were no matching color tiles at that spot until after I clicked it. The arrow graphics around the board overrode the lack of red outline in my brain. It would have been nice to have been able to undo my questionable move of picking up a single chicken.

+1 this is really needed for mobile. A 3s confirm/undo like in Azul would suffice to allow you to go back when the mobile mistakenly registers a double tap where you're just trying to browse options.

If there was an undo option (not a 'confirm), the game experience would be no less fluid.

On a laptop, I just misclicked and although it wasn't the worst selection, it still left me with a bitter taste in my mouth.

yes please, just had an accidental click using the touchpad of my laptop. Pleaaase, we need this for laptops as well.

Yeah, there's no reason at all for the game not to have an undo feature, it even has one for placing your animals, but not for choosing them for some reason. I just basically ruined a game with a misclick.
