Reviewing is critical to learn from your mistakes. Mistakes are bad, especially when they were interface errors.

I purpose that a confirm button is implemented to reduce the number of miss clicks in hive.

Also,

I purpose an update to the review interface. One that will let a player go backwards as well as forward AND allow for at least another observer in the room with chat options.

Again, learning from mistakes is key

There should also maybe be better guidelines to devs for how to take replay into account.
There are games where replay really works poorly and/or has errors.

For instance, in Race for the galaxy, cards that you tried to play during the game but did not confirm are shown as played in the replay.

There are also games with timing issues in replay.

I also think Replay function should be improved.
For example a keyboard shortcut instead of clicking all the time with the mouse.
In games likes Great western trail or Arche nova have to click about 300 times to see a hole game. Anonther improvemt would be to see tho whole turn of 1 player with one cklick (At the moment you need, depending of the action, 3 to 6 clicks to see only one move of one player). Improvement here would be very usefull.

BGA does a great many things well. The graphics, animations and in-game controls are usually obvious and top notch, but it has historically had some crucial deficits. The most important is the undo feature, but that already has a consensus of upvotes in a separate suggestion.

The other is the lack of features for visually reviewing what happened in a game. The Replay last moves button is so horrific it's a non-feature. Upon clicking it, things are replayed at such a grizzly pace one can't digest what's happening. What's needed are buttons to step forward/backward one discrete move at a time at one's own pace.

On BGA, because of the bad UX here, I almost never review what's happened beyond just reading the logs. I want to, but I dare not.
