Thanks for raising this issue!
It seems that there is a disagreement on that specific rule: according to boardgamearena.com/bug?id=52377 : " - If you are the first player in a round, and you play the Ace as your first cards, it behaves like a regular card, you don't clear the table"
Therefore, I don't think this is actually an issue.
