Not a bug, but a feature.
Allowing to stay introduced stalling problems, especially when the game end is near or in 2p games.
The option was removed during the development. I mentioned that in BGA wiki page.

FYI, the implementation is using CC BY 4.0 license, thus rule modification is allowed per se.

Still the other thing was strange, had it twice that I could click on the taxi field and it would move to another field.

I tried that again in a new game - directly in move 5 I got this situation:

I had a hand mouse cursor on the field where the taxi is, but when I had clicked on the taxi, it moved down:

That is specific to the center. Spaces are clogged together, so some of spaces overlap.
Just do not click the taxi. There is no reason to do so at all.

Ok, you are the boss - still, it only happens in the middle of the game field: imgur.com/a/vTcQVft
In that situation both taxis were clickable and I would say that is just wrong, because they are not vaild and marked fields to move.

Besides: You are saying "there is no reason to do that" - testing also means to click wherever possible, even if it does not fulfil the planned usecase.

I meant in a regular game, not during the test. Thanks for participation ;)

For 'clickable taxi', did you adjust window or frame size?
Seems frame size change somehow messed up div coordinates. After refreshing the window it works normally.
