Agreed, a warning confirmation for ships would be really nice. On mobile you can try to scroll the ship board and accidentally click it too, on someone else's turn, for a permanent impact.

A message indicating that you can buy ships by clicking would also be nice.

In addition: a warning for placing ore on ships would be nice--it is very easy to click and permanently place the ore.

I have noticed you can undo your turn and revert the ore placement / ship buy, I think...but if you do it out of turn you are indeed stuck. And, you might not realize that finishing your turn and then clicking undo will revert the ore/ship.

buying out of turn is not reversible and is indeed very frustrating if you accidentally click one while the shipyard board is in the foreground.

Just happened to me. Accidentally clicked a ship out of turn, and now can't undo it. Very frustrating.

Yep, I also accidentally bought a ship out of turn in a previous game. One does this only once and learns from it, but it would be nice to prevent even that "once". :)

Allowing undo out of turn is out of scope, unfortunately.

I plan to add a buy button below each ship, as this would also signal to new players that you are allowed to do this. It is quite frequent for players to be unaware of this possibility. I think this will also reduce the risk of misclick.

My ideas:
- If you buy a ship outside of your turn (during goods placement or another player's turn), there will be a confirmation dialog
- If you buy a ship on your turn, the Undo button will appear, even if you haven't performed your main action yet

There are other abilities which also can be undone only if you do them on your turn:
- Placement of ore on boats
- Placement of goods on boards
- Placement of wood/stone in sheds and houses
I think a warning for each of these is excessive, however. If any of these are a major problem, new issues should be opened for their own upvotes.

For now, I will just add a buy button. That should get rid of a good chunk of accidental purchases.

I think the buy button should help! The big problem was players not knowing they could do it, AND the entire ship area being sensitive, resulting in accidental clicks.
