Nothing happened. I waited, tried again, tried repeatedly, but no avail. Eventually, I refreshed and when the game reloaded a new round of bidding had started. There was some confusion in the comments as user Cheyenne also showed their screen as waiting for me to make my selection while after refreshing my page I was waiting for them to place a token to start the next round. I went and watched the playback afterwards thinking I missed something but even the playback is bizarre
