I first tried to put 3 lines (2 full lines and 1 doted line). Then I tried other moves (other lines, building a station), but I always had the same message. Refresh didn't help.
The game was totally blocked and was finally abandonned.

Your opponent was in the situation in which there were too many possibilities for him to play, and the server couldn't send them all to the client.
A new rule prevents from playing more than one Destinations during the same turn, which should lower the number of possible moves he could have done, and settle the matter.
I really hope it does so I'll classify this as fixed.
