I suggest to replace/complete elo with a new system that would to my mind solve following issues we have with elo
- cheats (playing against complesant friends or false account just to raise elo
- elite play : player avoiding to play with low rank to avoid loosing too many elo points
- luck game problems with elo
The new ranking would have points calculated that way :
Number of Different players you win over in the game (A) * percentage of success (B)
A précisé différent player. Means that if you play with always the same player it only count as 1 (if you win against him more often than he wins again you, else is 0). Value could be 0,5 for ties or equal number of wins
B is the percentage of success already calculated, only set in his decimal version (80% being 0,8)
