Specifically, it was trying to use it on a 4th Gear to get a 5th Gear. I undid that move because I actually wanted to go from 5th to 6th anyway.

I and at least one other player actually did do this without undoing I think, but it may not have actually added the cube? The end game cube counts look correct

Thanks for this info. I haven't got to this one yet (working on an entirely new UI system to release in the next update) but will get onto it after that.

Thanks for the heads up. Reproduced and fixed.

As per the Card Clarification, the card is still playable without there being available stock, but only the remove takes place. The card now supports this and the notification advises when it happens (and in the rare case that the only cubes you can remove have no upgrades available, the tooltip will warn you).
