There was some kind of error just after I selected the placement of a bonus icon token, I refreshed, then it jumped to the end game state.

Game ended prematurely during Exploration Phase of round 4 immediately after a tile placement. Two face up tiles remained along with one ship. The following error was seen in the log of the user who placed the tile.

Just encountered the same bug. There were 2 tiles left in the display and 1 ship remaining. It jumped straight to the end screen.

We got to the end of game scenario during the exploration phase, however, the game did not enter the reward phase. The game ended completely. The table number is 108184853.

I had the same issues on this game - boardgamearena.com/4/smallislands?table=108258527. The game ended even though I could have placed my ship tile and didn't go to the reward phase. There were still 2 land tiles remaining and my ship tile. This was at move no. 182.

Hello,
Same error on table #108364669
2 remaining exploration tiles so the exploration tiles available can't be refill. The game ended without round 4 scoring.
For reminder (in the original rules)
"Durant la Phase Exploration : à votre tour si vous ne pouvez pas jouer car il n’y a plus de Tuiles Paysage face visible disponible ET que vous ne pouvez pas placer une Tuile Bateau. Alors tous les joueurs font
immédiatement une dernière Phase Récompense, en commençant par vous."
Translation : " During the exploration phase : at your turn if you can't play because there are no more Land Tiles visible AND you can't place a boat tile. Then every players are playing a last Reward phase starting by you"

And the summary rules at the end of the game says clearly that every round is divided into 3 phases :
Preparation (game end if you can't refill the navigation pile (may be the bug is here because we can't refill so it ends ... but we are not in preparation phase...)
Exploration (game CAN NEVER end into this phase)
Rewards (all boats are placed)

I guess the Reward phase is always triggered when a boat lands but in fourth round it's not always the case.
The Last Reward phase can be triggered in 3 situations :
- a player land his/her Boat
- there is no more tile visible, you have no boat to land and you can't play a land tile
- every land tiles are placed on the table (no more into the General supply and no more into the Navigation supply)

Thanks for the good job of dvpt however because all the other things are great and the interface is really fluid :)

Same bug on table #108524349. 2 tiles left, 1 ship left, player1 played all 8 houses, player2 had 1 house left.Without warning game ended.
