Happened to me just now. Had scored zero in Yahtzee box. Rolled 5 of a kind. Game would not let me take that as 4 of a kind as it should.

I can report the same bug as above. Happened twice to me now. And cost me the game in at least one of them.

BGAgod, what tleroux means is that the "Three of a kind" and "Four of a kind" boxes should also have been highlighted green and available to use for scoring the five 6's. I captured a screenshot of that game at that move (see link below), which should make it obvious that it is in fact a bug with the game.

I have seen similar Yahtzee bugs involving the scoring of five of the same die. The game code must have some bugs in the "determine available placements" logic for that scenario. I bet that with the screenshot I provided here, the game developers will immediately see the mistake and know how to fix it.

Rolled 66666, Yatzee was already 0, but game would not allow placement in open four-of-a-kind, or as a 0 in other unscored boxes.

I think that if you make a second Yahtzee, then you have to score it in the appropriate upper section if it is available. That is, if your second Yahtzee was five 2's, then you would have to score it in the 2's box if if is open. Only if that box is not open can you score it in an open box in the lower section.

Got all 6 sixes, but it shows as 18 points in the six line and 0 points in the other lines, including Yahtzee. This was the first point of the game, and I got it in three moves.

I had this same problem with a 4 4 4 4 4. I had scored my Yahtzee as 0. After rolling five 4s, I should have had the option to score it as 4 of a kind, but I had to score it as 4s.

Adding my two cents. Any rolls of 5 of a kind should also be able to scored in the 4 and 3 of a kind slots. Not restricted to upper half or Yahtzee slot.
