Problem occurred every turn. Resolved only after repeated clicks and zooming in and out.

Same exact experience on iPhone. Everything else seems to work in the app. I’m using chrome and and iPhone 10. All other game functionality works on mobile and computer. But selecting cards is nearly impossible.

Each time I tried to choose a card, the touch tip info on the card would appear, and I would try to click out of it. Refreshing did not help. I had to zoom in and out and click repeatedly, hoping for a card to be selected. It would eventually work, but it took so long each time that my timer ran out.

I used IOS / iPhone. Impossible to select. Sometimes it worked, most not. My time run out and I got kicked.

Playing on iPhone 10, high quality fiber connection, most current iOS.

Could not select a card. I tried closing the view and reopening. I tried selecting other cards. I tried zooming in and out. I didn't get lucky and my turn timed out.

I sent the other players a note that I was having trouble with the screen.

Suggested short term solution: do not make this game available for iOS play.
Suggested long term solution: move the card selection options off of the cards.

It might not look as nice, but it may provide more stable play.

It's not the same issue (I'm looking to report my own bug but seeing if it was reported first) but it's related so I figure the info might help.

I didn't have any trouble selecting the card. I moved off mobile as I'm not able to see the tooltip at all. I see the (i) logo but clicking it doesn't bring anything up. I've got tooltips enabled in the settings.

This ^ seven wonders Duel game also experienced the same issues: clicking on cards brought up the info about that card and did not select it for play. When I would tap to dismiss the extra information, I would have to try and click on the card again but each time the extra information would be brought up.

I attempted rotating the device, zooming in and out and clicking around somewhat frantically but there was no moment where I could reliably click and play cards. The tooltip extra info kept getting in the way.

I was new to the "playing on your phone" idea so entered the game in training mode and good thing I did! I needed 15 minutes of "thinking time" to properly select the cards.

I can reproduce this bug, but I also know the cause.

iPhone treats a tap as a css hover. There needs to be a check implemented (@media css query potentially) to see if hover is supported by the device. Only set :hover rules on devices that support hover to fix this bug

I had the experience today on 7 wonders Duel.

I’m running iPhone 12, software version 15.2 using a Firefox browser.

I ended up getting expelled from the game since I couldn’t select a card.

Getting same behavior on iPhone 12 chrome with Seasons. Tried zooming in and out, rotating, refreshing, restarting device. Tried different combinations of tapping, press and hold, drag and drop, etc. eventually could select a card, but it took many tries and I ran out the clock each time.

Same issue for me. Sélection impossible even if zooming.

I am new to boardgamearena and have only played on my iphone. The tap recognition when selecting ANYTHING (cards, confirm buttons, etc) in all of the games I’ve played has been very poor. Occasionally the tap works on the first try, but most of the time I have to tap 5-10+ times before it finally decides to register the “click”. Even zooming in to really isolate on the field that I am tapping doesn’t work consistently. Like everyone else has reported, this leads to extended turn times and bad karma. (I’ve played Arknova, splendor, 7 wonders, and ticket to ride on here and have experienced this problem in all of them.)

I have this issue on iPhone 12 iOS 17.0.3,

Cannot select a card on my turn, only a tooltip appears when I select a card. Maybe this game needs a tooltip only option like Ark nova has.

Just tried this game and it’s still a problem. Too bad, it’s a fun game, but it’s basically unplayable on a iPhone because of the difficulty selecting a card.

This has happened when I tried to play on my iPhone . I tried to choose a card from the mystery pile and I am unable to do so.. I can only choose cards from the visible deck. When I keep trying, I get timed out and I got kicked out of the game eventually.

I am playing 7 Wonders Duel for the first time on my IPhone in Safari, and have been regularly experiencing this issue. I turned off tooltips, but it still continues to just show me info about the card whenever I try to select it. I’m afraid I’m going to be unable to complete the game.

Same issue on Castle Combo and Innovation. Innovation is very bad, almost unplayable on mobile device. Click on a card and either nothing happens or the tooltip/expanded card pops up. Tried requesting desktop site, didn’t help. Refreshing page didn’t help. Repeatedly clicking the card eventually works. Switching phone between portrait/landscape might work for one click. It is bad enough that I can’t play these games in real time.

The issue persists when using iPhone.
May take 3, 13 or 30 attempts to be able to play a card.
Highly annoying.

Used to have this problem on my iphone 11 last year and today i tried and it is still not fixed. Cant select a card to play it, the info turns up and nothing seems to work(zooming or refreshing etc).
