I played a 2nd brown 'secure' card in the left column when I only had 1 card in the middle column, so the game wants me to secure 2 cards from an adjacent column. After securing the only card in the middle column, the interface is stuck on 'You must secure a card from one of your adjacent columns (X 1)' and there is nothing I can do.
