The card says "From now on." Doesn't the once-per-game rule only apply to seven-player games, and only to Extension Action spaces, as per the Guest Room card text?

I believe that both options were valid, yes. I had a regular tunnel and a deep tunnel, but when I selected Ruby Mine Construction it only allowed me to place a ruby mine on one of those tunnels, and then it tried to confirm my turn. I plan to try again to see if I can replicate it.

I thinks it's normal, both buttons are doing different things : build on tunnel VS build on deep tunnel. So you can actually do both, but each one us specific to one type of action. In other word you are not allowed to build twice on deep tunnels, that's why interface is like this

I tried again and it worked (one mine on each kind of tunnel.) I'm not sure what I got wrong on my first attempt, but it's working fine now! Thanks very much.
